Neural Lightning

This page covers the only data this site collects: what you submit through the contact form.
Neural Lightning ("we", "us") is the data controller for information submitted through this site. You can reach us at contact@neurallightning.com.
If you use the contact form, we collect the name, organisation, email address, and message you choose to provide. Providing this information is voluntary — if you don't provide it, we simply won't be able to respond to your enquiry.
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand overall traffic to this site. It does not use cookies or any other client-side storage, and does not track you individually across visits or sites — it only reports aggregate metrics like page views and visitor counts. More detail is in Cloudflare's own documentation.
We use this information solely to respond to the enquiry you've submitted. Our legal basis under UK/EU GDPR is legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f)) — specifically, our interest in responding to correspondence you have voluntarily initiated with us.
Submissions are processed by our form provider, Formspree, Inc., which delivers them to a Neural Lightning inbox. Formspree is based in the United States, so your data is transferred to and processed in the US as part of this. Formspree's own privacy policy describes how they handle this. We do not sell your data or share it with anyone else.
We retain contact form submissions for up to 12 months from the date you submit them, after which they are deleted. You can request earlier deletion at any time (see "Your rights" below).
We don't use your data for automated decision-making or profiling of any kind.
Under GDPR, you have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data; to restrict or object to our processing of it; and to request a copy of it in a portable format. To exercise any of these, email contact@neurallightning.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority if you believe we have mishandled your data.
